Since moving to South West France in 2016 Rob & Mandy Willis have been renovating their old farm buildings which they named ‘Les Cerisiers’ after their UK home, ‘Cherry Trees’. They are developing a studio/teaching space as well as accommodation for courses and workshops.
As professional musicians they are passionate about music and the positive effects it can have on our lives. As they put it “We are serious about making music fun.”
Whether it is formal regular tuition or participation in one of their fun events, you will always be made to feel welcome and will always make progress in your music ability – and that’s guaranteed!!

Since graduating from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Rob has worked as a Musical Director, Pianist, Arranger, Composer and Producer. He works extensively in the entertainment industry and from 2008 – 2017 toured the globe as Conductor for BGT winner, Paul Potts. He has also toured with Richard & Adam, Charlie Landsborough and many Musical Theatre productions. He is proud to have worked with the likes of Beverley Knight, Gary Wilmot, Marti Pellow, Julian Clary, Joe Pasquale, Bob Monkhouse, Anthony Newley, Joan Collins and countless Pantomime favourites! Since 2001 he has been Musical Director of the UK’s biggest pantomime at the Birmingham Hippodrome!
Mandy also graduated from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Two years after gaining a PGCE specialising in Music & Primary Education, she became Head of Music at a Catholic Secondary School teaching years 7 – 13. After 10 years she moved in to peripatetic teaching as a woodwind specialist for Dudley Peforming Arts and Worcestershire music services. She has many years experience of choral conducting and, after a return to the classroom in 2009, she achieved success with her Chamber Choir. Highlights include performing for many dignitaries, winning the Dudley Music Festival, an appearance with Richard & Adam and even a performance for the Pope!
